Weekend To Remember

My husband and I get to have a little vacation. I’m SO excited about it. It’s a little marriage seminar, a weekend to remember, which we have gone to before and it was great. We will be leaving on our 8 year anniversary April 14th. We will be back the following Monday. Our vacation is up to Lake Tahoe…neither of us have ever been. It will be a nice get away and reconnect and renew.

Maternity Session

This is my beautiful sister’s maternity session. She is SO funny and so beautiful. This pregnancy has been a little different than her first…but she is super excited about having another little girl. Her first girl is about a year and a half her name is Izzy. Izzy’s sister’s name is going to be Gabby. My sister Trish will have a scheduled C-Section on May 11th. I can not wait to meet my niece.

Little girl Meadow

Meadow is such a cute and chubby little girl. She is 10 months old and I just loved her chubby cheeks and the little rolls on her legs. Her mom and dad came up for the session. At one point, dad was on the floor doing push ups because it was something that made her laugh. To be honest…I was laughing too. =)

Living Springs Christian School Fundraiser

My oldest girl Kaylie goes to a private school here in Running Springs. It’s a great school! I did a fundraiser for them. It was a discounted mini session they got 1-8×10 and over 1/2 the package amount went to the school. Here are a couple of images from the mini sessions.

My Easter

Ok, so my self assignment went okay. I didn’t do as good as I would have hoped. It was hard to be the “magazine” photographer with 2 kids and around a pool for Easter. The image I did take are of us decorating things. This year as a family we made Easter bonnets and decorated Easter eggs for the Easter bunny to hide. We did have a great time.

Trish Romero will be having a little girl named Gabrielle on May 11, 2010. She has been married for almost 8 years and they have another beautiful girl named Izzy.

I love maternity portraits because it’s such a special time in mom’s life. She can feel the baby moving, in vision what she will look like and wondering what the future will hold for her growing family. There are only a couple of times in most of our lives that we get to be pregnant…capture those moments before they are gone.

Gary & De De

Gary & De De are from Alaska. They have 9 beautiful children and are a fun loving family. They renewed their vows on April 1, 2010. Gary surprised De De by singing the song he sang to her on their first date. Such a cute and fun couple. Cliff Bell of Paid 2 Party was the DJ. The ceremony was held at The Marina Resort in Big Bear and the Reception was at The Best Western Chateau in Big Bear.

Engagement Session

My new favorite place so do engagement session is Los Rios Rancho in Oak Glen. This was the third time I have shot there and we went a different way this time. I LOVED it!

This is Joey & Erin. They will be getting married May 1, 2010. I did their family portraits a few months back. She was “testing” to see if I would be a good fit for their wedding. Well, I made the cut! These are their engagement portraits and I will be posting their wedding photos in May!

Easter assignment

You know when you look in a magazine and the colors are so vibrant and the details are so sharp.
